The following project team members bring extensive construction, paving and trail design, drainage, street, water, wastewater, structural and construction inspection and surveying services.
Tom Werblow, P.E.
As principal partner of the firm, Mr. Werblow has over 40 years’ experience in all aspects of conceptual, preliminary and final planning, design, and construction of street, curb and gutter, drainage, storm water, water distribution systems, water storage systems, municipal water wells, water treatment and wastewater treatment. Mr. Werblow is familiar with funding mechanisms, and funding agencies including Nebraska Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, USDA Rural Development, SRF, and local bonding. His cumulative infrastructure projects including water, wastewater system improvements, new design and upgrading of city street systems and framework. His years of experience lend insight to helping communities through the process of meeting current needs while looking toward the needs of the future generations.
Brent Burklund, P.E.
As an employee and partner of the firm, Mr. Burklund has 19 years experience in the conceptual, preliminary and final planning, design, and construction of street, curb and gutter, drainage, storm water, water distribution systems, water storage systems, municipal water wells, water treatment and wastewater treatment. He has completed many projects with the North Platte Airport. With T.C. Engineering, Brent has functioned in the roles of design engineer, project manager/engineer, and author of feasibility/planning studies and reports, design, and drawing/specification production on numerous projects. His cumulative experience includes the planning, design, and/or construction of several major water and wastewater system improvements and subdivision designs which include water, sewer, storm sewer drainage and street improvements.
David Yoshida, Engineering Survey and Design Technician
David is a North Platte Native, he is familiar with the local area, its population and its needs. As an employee, Mr. Yoshida has 16 years’ experience in planning and construction staking of major Highway and Interstate projects, topographic survey and construction staking for planning projects in Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado. He also has experience with engineering design work for water, sewer, storm sewer, street and paving projects. Dave is also a GPS & Total Station Technician.
Elliot Nickel, Engineering Survey and Design Technician
As an employee of the firm, Elliot has over 12 years’ experience in preliminary and final planning topographical and construction staking for curb and gutter, water, sewer and paving improvements. He provides design support and operation of GPS equipment. Elliot has completed work with design and planning of water, sewer, storm sewer, street and building layouts/improvements utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3-D and GPS equipment. .
